Engine Capacity
DB9 comes with a classic naturally aspirated 6.0L V12 engine and it produces 450 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. This model is renowned for its smooth and linear delivery with an accelerating capacity of 0-60mph in a respectable 4.8 seconds. If you are a car enthusiast, then the main feature of it is the sound track which you will feel like a symphony.
On the other hand, the Db11 engine is a more contemporary one with a twin turbo-charged 4.0L V8 engine. It produces 503 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque with an accelerating capacity of 0-6mph in 4.0 seconds. While the V8 offers instant torque and sharper acceleration, some might miss the character and soul of the naturally aspirated V12.
Driving Comfort
The DB9 is highly suitable for comfort and long-distance drive over outright speed. Its suspension is tuned for a supple ride and hence it can effortlessly soak up bumps and imperfections on the road. The main highlight of it is the steering which is light and precise and gives a relaxed and enjoyable car to drive on scenic highways.
The DB11 strikes a better balance between grand touring comfort and sporty handling. While it retains a comfortable ride quality, the DB11’s stiffer suspension and more communicative steering inspire confidence on winding roads. Selectable driving modes allow you to tailor the DB11’s character to your mood, from a relaxed grand tourer to a more focused sports car.
